No, Adelaide is used to me calling her a number of ridiculous things, I was just... grasping for a level of professionalism. ( Her tone is self-deprecating and amused. ) And I just know it's... well, weird being a rifter, I didn't want to deny you of a respectful title by just being clumsy with my words.
( That aside, she hums thoughtfully. )
I think we can be childish and mature responsible adults simultaneously, if we try. It's going to be not so much Templars and mages and rifters as... hopefully, at least, a bunch of people getting together to have fun. Mixed up teams, maybe with set team leaders, but other than that anyone who wants in just needs to sign up, and then I'll make up the teams by pulling names out of a hat. I figure the more the merrier, you know?
But I was going to ask if you'd like to be a team leader. You get to pick a colour, and everything. I have red, Adelaide has violet. It's...
[Obi-Wan reflects upon the plight of the Rifters and feels a great surge of gratitude for people like Ruby, who put aside their own embarrassment for the sake of others. Sometimes, the courage to open oneself to another can be much more frightening than the courage it takes to risk merely bodily harm.
There is a brief pause.]
Blue.
Although I warn you, there'll be no mercy for your dastardly, red-bearing fiends.
Cool, so that iiis— ( the words are oddly dragged out in that particular way that comes when you are writing something down as you say it, )
Mas-ter Kenobi with Team Periwinkle.
Awesome.
( Ruby no )
Uh, well, first I need to ask the Mage Council to give me some help putting it together. Partly because Adelaide didn't actually expect me to go through with it so it needs to be as official as possible, and partly because it'd be unfair to leave all the work on her.
[He is affronted! Shocked! How dare you no-- indeed, how very dare you. Brat.]
May I recommend contacting a rifter named Araceli, somewhat recently connected with a local Vashoth, Korrin Ataash? She's been here longer than most, and has some connections, something about a meeting called some time before my own arrival. If she's able and willing to help, the more hands the better, yes? I suspect the mage-council might have more work than to dedicate any significant manpower to... Oh, let's call them Rifter morale-building exercises.
It's a beautiful shade. But, I mean, if you're not a fan of Periwinkle I could think of something else. Maybe... Celeste? Columbia?
( see this is what happens when you're nice to Ruby Lucas she is terrible )
I've spoken with both of them before, actually. Only once with Araceli, but Korrin was one of the first people I met here. That's a great idea, I'll get in touch with her for sure.
( and a huff of laughter. )
So far Knight-Commander Norrington and Warden-Constable Blackwall seem to be on side too, so it won't look like a purely rifter focused indulgence, but all the support I can get sounds like a good plan. I'm very committed to snow fights.
...And that's good to hear. It's a good plan, mixing the groups thoroughly. We all have to learn to trust one another sometime, and a snow war may be just the stakes we need.

( These are the important questions. And, with a surprised laugh— )
That's fine. The superior Red Team doesn't need your Blue sympathy.

[Is there any other answer?]
Do you have an announcement already planned, then?

Exactly. It's less a snow fight and more like a... bro fight.
( No that doesn't work. In fact: ) That didn't sound as good as I hoped it would.
crystal;
Let me know if you'd like anything more from me. Any way I can help.
